Kap,

<You may be right, but anecdotal data suggests that k6 revenues will be somewhat better than in Q2. The stronger PC demand, pure-profit k6 Q2 inventory, 810 bugs and 440BX/ZX shortages all point to stronger k6 sales. >

It is true that PC demand and 810 bugs have helped and the Q3 volumes may infact be better than Q2 (which is not saying much, to be sure). But the ASP scene is pathetic (probably because Whitney is starting to ramp and OEMs are squeezing AMD for the difference in motherboard costs). Other contributing factor is that most of Q2, AMD had one or two speed grades over Celeron and now they are one speed grade behind. Laptop scene is equally bad and will get worse before it gets any better.

As far as JC's revenue calculator goes, it is valid only if you assume good operational and sales performance.
