ebay seems to have everything going for it except the stock market. Outages really dont concern me that much...it's going to happen to anybody. That said, anybody else notice the eerie similarity in behavior when comparing the 1999 internets to the 1995 semis. As I recall, semis peaked in 1995. Until the plunge began they could do no wrong. But those buying the dip on the semis in 95 had to wait years to break-even. WHen a sector goes out of favor big-time it doesnt turn on a dime. But then these are the inuts! My finger's itching to pull the trigger on ebay, cnet, elnk, and even etrade but the media mavens keep mouthing off about another 10% to go.
