SAMS: I am on the corner of Water street and Wall street and on 14 th floor. At lunch I am walking around the exchanges: brokers still enjoy this little cool day (as compared to last week). Visitors still lining up to get into the exchange floor. The line is about two blocks long. I was at Border in the World trade center, the section of books on trading attracting a lot of browsers, readers .... I think that the summer and the lack of professional traders for mutual funds are the major factors that make this market uninteresting. Last August we have Asian market to blame for, this August we have the fear of the increase of interest. Then this September we could have Year 2000 problem as another factor. But in the end, we will moving forward with the DOW in 12,000 range. All we need now is to preserve our capital. As of today, I like CHIR: cbs.marketwatch.com Notes: I was able to make my PC with 128 Mbytes come to die while using the Radar Screen. I will do more work and PM you. Kha
