Robert -- somebody asked for a theory -- this note was 'a theory'. I don't know what the level of institutional ownership is as of today. I was given a link recently that showed data for AMZN and from memory I believe institutional ownership was down to 25% for AMZN and much higher for AOL -- it was a factor in my decision to buy puts on AOL rather than AMZN -- and on your last point, I think the institutional investors are more savvy to the international scene because they have access to advisors who give them a heads-up -- eventually the individual investor gets this information on CNBC or something like that -- may or may not believe it cause it might sound like economic mumbo jumbo about bonds and the dollar or something. In this case, that gives the institutions a head start in selling off the most vulnerable stocks in their portfolios. In the short term, institutional ownership is the most likely to sell first -- the individuals will take longer to do so and would comprise the last wave of selling -- this is still some days or weeks away IMO.
