Short term, I agree 100%, perhaps even long term, though I'm not as convinced there. I talked with guys at IMB/Ameritech, MCI, and NEC/Australia this week and they all three said both technologies would be deployed and, furthermore, they all said Amati's DMT was the finest ADSL in existence. Incidentally, the IMB guy said, "You own Westell, I hope." (I do.) That's after we'd both confided we owned Amati.
