I've been running searches in GET with VMS files for a while now, until I upgraded with GET 7.5. I still have 7.2 build 6 on my old computer, and I can run scans on directories using VMS. Scans run so slowly using QP data it is frustrating to even think of using the program with over a couple hundred symbols. The problem now is to get down to that level without using too much HD space with real metastock files. A simple volume moving average parameter in the search routine would help considerably.
