Ron

There is something rotten is Denmark here I think. I read today's release that was put out by Bre-X and Freeport. The 7 holes that Freeport drilled show absolutely miniscule amounts of gold (.001 g/t) yet Bre-X's twin hole shows 3-4 g/t?. The lab that did the work for Bre-X also assays for Freeport and RTZ and is Internationally recognized. Further I read in a report on the Bre-X web-site from Lehman BRos in December they stated unequivicably that they were satifisfied with Bre-X's assay methods, the lab they used and the fact the sent check assays to a company in Australia. Now we are to beleive that based on seven holes we should disregard 300 Bre-X holes. This is just an opinion but I beleive Freeport and/or the Indonesian goverment might love a shakeout. If in a months time Bre-X is vindicated the people at Freeport should be held accountable and should face the wrath of shareholder lawsuits.

Here are some comments from analyst about the assay methods:

Ron or anyone. Have I missed something here? Can all these analysts be wrong or is Freeport and/or the Indo government playing a very cruel where they end up saying sorry folks we made a mistake, sorry about all the losses but this is a speculative business.

Best regards

Tony
