I Bought an IOM Zip Today

Went to CompUSA in the IOMEGA section (which is almost as big as the computer display area) and picked up a new high-speed $129 USB IOMEGA ZIP DRIVE in a cool blue color. Very good looking drive. I was Very IMPRESSED.

I needed it because I just bought a new Nikon 950 and needed a place to store a bunch of uncompressed TIFF files. Since the superdisk cost $40 more and I already have a dinosaur 1.44 floppy (as all computers do, except maybe a few hundred overpriced, very limited in what they can do multi-colored designed IMACS ) it was the LOGICAL choice.

I am very impressed with this new version of the USB ZIP DRIVE. It plugged right in to my P-111 and worked flawlessly. The ZIP reading was SUPERB. Plays FULL MOTION VIDEO ( FULL SCREEN ) without any dropped frames.

I was going to email my sister a few pics, but then I realized that sister or not, she might not want to download the 40 megs or so that I took today. She said to just mail the ZIP disk to her or just bring it by in the next day or so.

Great Product, IOMEGA! No wonder so many millions of NEW PC and MAC buyers are buying the ZIP DRIVE.

Later...Zebedee

PS The NIKON 950 is awesome!

PSS I could email the 40 megs of pics to you if you'd like!

PSSS I forgot to mention that I want to have a few of the pics printed POSTER size and Kinkos only likes files on IOMEGAS ZIP DISKS!
