Dan3 < Sure, Craig Barrett did. Read his recent keynote on intel's site. That's why he's moved intel into networking and video, and out of the cpu market where they aren't able to compete for the next few years. (they do hope to be at 0.13 on copper by 2002) >

.13um refers to the groundrule generation - not the device length. Intel's published device design for the .18um groundrule generation (Coppermine/Merced etc.) is top notch/world class.(the best I've seen to date) I sincerely doubt that AMDs .14 micron devices (these I believe are for the .18um generation Athlons) will be as good.
