Eric & Others: I am currently attempting to research Cellular Location Services which will satisfy the FCC's year 2001 requirement for Emergency 911 location services -- To locate and aid Cell Phone users, who need help. A second and important use, will be to provide Information / content (such as Yellow Pages information) to those users based on their precise geographical location. The technologies that are used by the following companies, use existing cellular base stations, their own add - on equipment, and the internet, to provide these services. Technologies used by these companies are: Time Difference of Arrival, Angle Of Arrival, and Radio-camera.
