Jan, you're into technical issues here. I was thinking about the liquidity (back, GST, BACK!) issues here with just the internet stocks. I'm thinking that broker resrrictions on margin trading had a dampening effect on both supply and demand. One reason why short interest hasn't swelled, and why (even technically-)supporting liquidity isn't robust is the margin limits placed by the major houses.
