In the United States, theglobe.com has entered into a relationship with Time Warner's Road Runner to provide games and community services to Road Runner's 320,000 subscribers. theglobe.com has also signed with Gobi, a free-PC distributor, to be the exclusive provider of community services.
Community Services During the second quarter of 1999, theglobe.com has significantly improved its offerings. theglobe.com completed its first phase of integrating the Attitude Network properties. This has meant adding a new games channel within theglobe.com as well as providing community services throughout the Attitude Network. In April, the Company launched its personal publishing commerce service, powered by ****Wave Systems***, empowering users with an easy-to-use service to sell intellectual property from their websites at theglobe.com.
