C: Unfortunately the trigger point is quite absent until something quite obvious raises questions and then you know what hits the fan. We may not be that far off in terms of years before we see far more electronic order matching for the bulk of listed share orders.

The fight to slow or stop that trend could be quite vicious, especially with NYSE seats going at $2 million or more.
