Craig,

"SNDK is down a very real $10 from its $80 high."

Touch‚. I suppose anytime something can be sold at $80 and repurchased at $70, the $10 difference can be pocketed.

"NHP, unless you intend to die soon, you aren't saving any taxes by holding onto SNDK."

Taking my age into account, this could be an argument for holding on to SNDK.

I'm afraid that I was carried away somewhat in my analysis concerning the tax ramifications of selling SNDK vs holding on. My point, which was incorrect, was that one would be just as well off financially by holding onto SNDK than selling at 80 and repurchasing at 70, assuming the price
of the stock keeps rising.

As Lord Keynes said,

"When a colleague convinces me that I am wrong, I change my mind. What do you do?"

I stand corrected.
