Cosmo, I have received and read Eddie Toppel's Zen in the Markets, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is spot on about insisting that emotional control is everything. I'd like to share my favorite passage on the thread.

A snake wanted a ride across a pond and asked the turtle to give him a ride to the other shore. The turtle refused, saying that he didn't want to take a chance on the snake biting him. The snake pleaded and pleaded, saying that he wouldn't bite him. He promised over and over again that he wouldn't.

Finally the turtle gave in and took the snake across the pond on his back. The snake got off, turned around, and bit the turtle. The turtle protested, "You promised not to bite."

The snake replied, "I can't help it. It's my nature."
