Drilling took place on the Masumeka property between January 15 and March 8 1997. A total of 2,344m was drilled on eight magnetic anomalies. No kimberlites were encountered. Work by Kennecott will resume about mid May, after spring breakup. Exploration will include geochemical sampling, geophysics and further drilling if warranted.
