Chartwell is pleased to announce the release of its Chinese language version of Casino Casino Internet gaming software. The Chinese language version of Casino Casino includes the full suite of parlour games, video poker games, and slots. The Chinese version is also Java based requiring no downloading thereby providing instant access to the gaming site. It is fully functional with Cyberboss, Chartwell's comprehensive casino administration software and CyberBanx, its e-commerce/banking engine.
Chartwell's development of this Chinese version of Casino Casino is a major step in achieving its goal of establishing a strong presence in the huge Asian market. This new Chinese version will be exhibited by Chartwell at the Australasian Gaming Expo 99 which runs from August 22 - 24, 1999 in Sidney, Australia. With Australia's official sanctioning of online gaming, Chartwell is negotiating several strategic alliances to market its software in this potentially very lucrative region.
As part of the continuous development and upgrading of its software, Chartwell's in-house development team is pleased to announce the development of six new casino games, Pai Gow Poker (very popular among Asian gamblers), Baccarat and four new slots. These new games may be previewed on Chartwell's Free Demonstration Game Site at www.chartwelltechnology.com. This brings the number of games offered by Casino Casino to 18 with more games in development.
Chartwell is committed to become the preferred supplier of online gaming software and a leader in the Internet gaming industry. Peer Internet based online gaming companies include Cryptologic (TSE:CRY) and Starnet Communications (OTCBB:SNMM) in what PC Computer Magazine and UK's Financial Times estimate to be an $8 billion (US) industry by 2004.
