"How much real estate" is the question. Using solar energy for hydrogen extraction is great except even at 100% efficiency you need a large area to capture enough sun. By the way, solar energy using regular photovoltaic cells is an up and coming technology. The cost per kilowatt for home units is dropping to the point where it's getting competitive with buying power off the grid. Fun-da-Mental
