The one thing that happened on Wednesday, that I didn't connect with the sudden burst of trading on CWEI, was the EDGARizing of the 10-K. Most of the websites I have looked at that publish earnings data, wait for the EDGAR filing of the 10-K before they update all of their numbers. I now think that is what triggered, and hopefully will continue to trigger, the buying. I think brokers also peruse the data only after the EDGAR filing. CWEI's numbers are so good they would attract attention. CWEI's filing is not yet available to us on-line; however if we subscribed to EDGAR-On-Line (a paid service), as most brokerages must, then we would have had access to it yesterday.
