Actually, if you are daytrading, Naz (compx) is not the thing to watch - it is a lagging indicator. Watch S&P futures.

NITE is indeed a bit stronger and yesterday was constructive. So, under ordinary circumstances this should have been the bottom. The trouble is the overall market. No brokerage related stock does well in a declinig market. If the market declines, as is likely, NITE will decline too. About the only thing that could mitigate that would be some very strong news specific to NITE (takeover *rumors*, only provide a temporary lift).

Well, the market is oversold, so snap-backs are not surprising, but I'm afraid that the upcoming FOMC meeting is making the markets nervous, and that's just that.
