Mr. Ellison;
Before you go any further, you should articulate specifically what he would do if you had control of Apple.
Since Mr. Jobs has indicated that he doesn't want to run Apple (he has Pixar), do you plan to function as Apple CEO?
If so, who's going to run Oracle? If not you or Mr. Jobs, then whom?
How many shares of Apple do you currently own? When did you buy them.
Are you going to sell them at once, sending the price down, if you don't get control of Apple?
If you own no shares, what stake do you have? Whatare you putting at risk?
I'd have liked to see Mr. Amelio, et al. move faster and more aggressively
but, by and large, I feel he's moving the company in the right direction.
I'd need specific to persuade me otherwise.
Overall, your assertions raise more questions you've answered.
Also, if you need my feedback at this point, you probably haven't thought this through. |
