a degreed nuclear physicist with NO opinion on lack of planned backup diesel generators for hot rod cooling pools? please try again.

are we given to understand by your reply they did not discuss cooling pools protocol when you were trained at mcmaster university? that is an astounding revelation. and why should we ask ken. he just posted a link. you are the one with the classical training. the closest we have to a nuclear expert on here. why shouldn't we ask you?

i would like to hear more about the academic exposure/training our nuclear worker bees get in real life. is it more physics than practical application? more science than safety schooling?

nuclear accident is probably the single largest y2k fear, militarily and domestically that many will admit to. may be a left over from the 50s bomb shelter days, i don't know. but it is still a 'hot' button for many on this thread and elsewhere.
