Mark, I think both free ISPs will thrive and coexist. At the rate at which new people are being connected to the net all over the world, there will be enough new people who want the warm and fuzzy feel of better service and having their hand held. As far as better connections at half the price, that might be a generalization and not necessarily true of all competing ISPs. I have friends who left AOL, went to other ISPs cause they thought their connections were better, then came back when they realized that everyone has those connection problems at one
