So why did you, me, and all the other "little guys" pay for that massive search effort? If one of us crashed, what kind of search effort do you think there would have been? They would have assumed we were fish bait and left it at that. I don't have a problem with that, but why should I pay for JFK Jr.'s elaborate search? People are lemmings. They like creating idols, no matter how mediocre and undeserving the targets of their misguided worship are. That is the true tragedy.
