Unfortunately, a friend of mine bought shares in an Internut fund (don't know which one) at the suggestion of her very successful (up 183% in '98) day-trading brother-in-law. Of course I thought he (and she) were nuts since I felt the risk level was extreme then (Ebay was over 200). So while some are up 178%, she's down around 50% with the same fund. Ah, the timing of the bubble. Is it "buy on the dip" or "dip on the buy" I forget...
