To my knowledge there are no books that cover day trading in Canada. This is not a big surprise since there is almost no market for a book on this subject. Personally I find all the good day trading rules geared towards U.S stocks work in all market places...although some of them work in slow motion. Of course pre-market trading strategies are useless and so are Level II MM games but the simple TA charting techniques seem to work great.

As for books on Momentum...
The posts I threw up will cover 80-90% of the stuff you probably want. I would suggests Murphy's or Pring's books on TA since they are very good teachers and cover most of the major techniques. As for momentum day trading books....I haven't found one that was worth the money yet. I just read Copper's day trading books and although it was a O.K read it was not worth the money...read it for free if you get the chance. The Compleat Daytrader I and II are useless, the electronic daytrader is worse. Street Smart was great but geared to Futures. Other books I have read on Day Trading just aren't up to speed on the subject...I often wonder if they were even written by traders. Most of the good techniques I have read about I have gotten from the net or come up with myself.

Best Regards
KEITH
