Jules, you appear to be one of the more rational folks here. Lot's of differing opinions, that's what makes the market. FWIW, I believe many of my thoughts are archived here before you came around.
But, for starters, how bout the cost of LD calls quickly heading to nothing. IMO, the big guys will figure out how to make money, the little guys will either get bought or get lost in the shuffle. Secondly and perhaps the most damaging over the short term, lack of adequate hardware base to support the pc based products. A recent article by someone (posted here) suggested the same thing, with some brand new state of the art hardware totally inadequate, while some older equipment worked fine. Thirdly, the day of wild internet premiums is quickly changing to show 'da money. This will likely continue. Internets with no earnings will be hard pressed to move up from here on any permanent basis from current levels IMO. These are for starters.
Now, why don't you explain how you see NTOP making any money and perhaps some projections as to when, and what is faulty with my logic.
Keep in mind that I'm on the fence with IDTC. Still trying to determine what they're backbone may be worth to another player. In fact, that maybe NTOP's hope...IDTC sells the whole enchilada to a big player soon...including their NTOP stake. I believe that's the plan, the question is whether or not they'll do it in time, or blow it like they did the NTOP IPO. I also wonder if they'll spin off the ISP first.
Do you own NTOP shares?
