Steve, I own puts on MU and INTC. I plan to buy some on AMAT and Novellus early next year when the fake buying cycle shows its true colors. I think the ripe ones in other areas include all the Flash stocks, especially Atmel, and SRAM stocks, especially Cypress. I hate LSI, LLTC and Mxim. However, these dogs have to be timed with the coming of a credit crunch, as folks and cos. are still borrowing like crazy to buy their crap. That has to end soon, but I'm not sure exactly when. I like to pick off small pieces on up days.

Broadcom is one I like as a co. and hate as a stock.

As layups, any time the graphics chip cos. raise their ugly heads, they are doomed. This industry is simply in oversupply and Intel takes away another chunk of market share with each new Pentium tweak. SIII and C-Cube have long been my favorites and both are on my top ten profit list for puts this cycle. SIII is simply to cheap to mess with, but C-Cube is blipping on the radar again.
