Video on demand will be a fantastic app for broadband -- no more wandering aimlessly in Blockbuster, looking for something besides "Beastmaster" to fill the open evening. But I think a much more important killer app will be two-way video conferencing with everyone else on the planet. You watch and see how many business trips that entail huge airport time sinks and overnight stays in strange hotels disappear when everyone can click up everyone else and see them on a big flat panel display in real time.
