"IF" there is a discovery next door to the Kidd Creek Mine and the intercept in the drill hole indicated that the zone had a modest width rather than indicating there is another Kidd deposit, then both stocks will move. Falconbridge being the operator of the project and having the infrastructure could benefit financially by making the rest of their Timmins operation more economic. A 10% increase in Falconbridge stock ($2) is more than a doubling of OPW share price. My observation about the large block of Falconbridge stock trading when everyone in the country (except Quebec) was on holidays just struck me as odd enough that it might indicate that there had been a discovery made over the weekend. The only way someone could take advantage of that fact last Monday was to buy on the Montreal market. The steady rise in OPW shares over the past three days continues to support my opinion that there has been a discovery.

With regard to the other factors that currently influence Falconbridge such as the strike in Timmins being settled and acquisition of the Collahuasi deposit you are correct that they will add to the bottom line. However, there is nothing like speculation to drive up the price of a stock whether it be a major or a junior.

Just my opinions for what they are worth.
