two additions to its senior management team: it named Jim Glista as vice
president of worldwide sales and appointed Steve Cummings to the post of vice

Glista, with 20 years experience in the high-tech industry, is responsible
for the expansion and management of worldwide sales for VideoServer. After
successful management positions within the conferencing and computer
networking industries while based in the US, Europe and Asia, Glista brings a
truly international attitude and approach to VideoServer -- particularly
important as the company expands into new markets. His extensive experience
includes directing sales and distribution efforts throughout the world for
leading companies including Data General and PictureTel. With VideoServer's
proven track record in the conferencing industry and its depth of expertise in
the emerging world of IP-based multimedia communications, the company is now

Cummings is responsible for defining the strategic technical direction of

Prior to joining VideoServer, Cummings held several executive positions,
including CEO of ClearOne and vice president of engineering at PictureTel
Corporation. In addition, he held both technical and management positions
over 17 years at IBM, where he was responsible for the research and
development of workstation and networking technologies. Under his direction,
the research and development team at VideoServer will build on the company's
award-winning products, launching innovative development programs to further
enhance usability and functionality.
