Brain. I agree the Sanders machines are real slow and even if their new machine is 50% faster than their first generation machine, then it would still be considered slow. <g>

If you take the best features of 3D's Actua modeler (i.e. multi-jets and throughput) and combine it with the best features of the Sanders machine (accuracy and surface finish) and then throw in the best features of Stratasys' FDM machine (ABS protoyping material and marketing support) then what do you end up with? ...The next generation Stratasys machine, or at least the one I would build! (O.K. I realize this is an overly bullish statement on Stratasys but I do plan to invest in 3D Systems if it hits my price target.)

Thanks for the post. If you hear anything further about Sander's marketing success with their new machine then please let us know.

P.S. Almost time to cover that Stratasys short? The panic that could be coming to the overall market on Monday morning could be a good time to maximize profits.
