Sawgrass, I think you are making the right move. Consider ECN since they provide you with the fastest execution and the best bid/ask if you have NASDAQ LEVEL II. I like Castle Online myself even thought I am with Brown(I don't have a lot of money as you do to invest). Their website is "www.castleonline.com". I think you might like them.
