C Kahn,
I know ''so much'' about American politics because I take interest in American politics and because, most of the time, what happens in American politics has ripple effects in other countries.... In today's globalized society, the domestic/international divide is no longer as clear-cut as it used to be: the Monicagate was sold to the public opinion as a US domestic affair, yet it did affect the US foreign agenda (Middle East, eg)
As regards my knowledge about the WASP/Jewish plot to assassinate the first Catholic president of the US, let me bring to your notice that all the material I'm referring to has been elaborated by American citizens --whether it's my former post with PI Paul Kangas' scenario or Mark Lane's authoritative book, Plausible Denial. I'm not referring to some anti-US literature written by a shadow Islamic terrorist gang!!
As far as TD goes on dismissing my opinions because they don't fit his rosy, blind jingoism, I'd say that over here in Europe hidden, shameful skeletons abound but, since most Americans are ignorant and/or show little interest in what's going on outside their stars-and-stripes turf, I find it difficult to address Europe's parochial scandals....
Besides, I don't share this outdated, hypocritical and futile attitude that calls for everybody to care about his/her own national wangles and not to meddle in foreign affairs --even in casual, recreational cybergabfests! Hey, guys: it's Internet Time! Better get used to it!
I said earlier that I was an anarchist: that means that I mostly emphazise the class divide as opposed to the bourgeois nationalist divide. Hence, I claim that, as a European Joe Six-pack, I've likely more in common with millions of other all-American Joes than Bill Gates has in common with you! Since the Internet is such a magic, freely accessible discussion platform open to anybody, let's not self-censor ourselves! We're neither diplomats, bankers, mafiosi nor intelligence denizens so why should we stick to such an obsolete mindset as the narrow-minded jingoist's?
