Yeah, when the MGB (MG Bear) comes outa da den---

Well, now I perceive the big boys are concerned. Yesterday Mr. G said definutly that a 1/4 point increase would be the limit if that was even required.

Arthur Hill's news letter had an interesting observation this morning -"Market breadth deteriorated further yesterday as declining issues
widened their lead over advancing issues by a margin of 2 to 1. The AD Line peaked on April 3, 1998, a full 16 months of negative divergence.
The two prior periods with a negative divergence this long were in
1928/29 and 1973/74. No need to restate what happened then. The up
volume/down volume line was the last hold out and it too has finally
succumbed to the selling pressure. The trend line extending up from
Oct-98 was broken a week ago and the May-99 reaction low was broken just yesterday. The last bastion of support remains the DJIA, which is
holding above 10,400."

Bulls and Bears, ying and yan, I don't know - looks like its time for my small potatoes to take a vacation...

BTW I have a trend line support for T at 49 1/2 FWIW.
