PSUN Reports July Same Store Sales Increase 9.0%

ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 5, 1999--

Thursday reported sales of $33.6 million for the four week period ended Aug. 1, 1999, an increase of 39% over sales of $24.2 million for the comparable four week period ended Aug. 2, 1998.

Same store sales increased 9.0% for the month.

Total sales for the second quarter of fiscal 1999 were $100.5 million, an increase of 37% over sales of $73.2 million for the second quarter of fiscal 1998. Same store sales increased 7.1% for the second quarter of fiscal 1999.

Total sales for the first half of fiscal 1999 were $181.9 million, an increase of 35% over sales of $134.4 million for the first half of fiscal 1998. Same stores sales increased 7.2% for the first half of fiscal 1999.
