About Techcorp. Back in December of 1997, Alpine divested itself of Techcorp by giving the division away to the management group. Now the company is proposing to buy it back for the equivalent of approx. $8 million in stock. What the hell is this? And as I recall, shareholders had NO say in the divestiture in the first place.
