You might be right, and good luck to you.

The next weeks will reveal whether the internet bubble has burst. Brief as it was, RRRR did have its run -- though maybe too brief for most company insiders and employees really to benefit.

August is often (1929 and 1987 as wee examples, but there are others) the time when investors first start to doubt the faery dust theories that supported a stock run, and decide that maybe stocks won't go up forever and it might be time to get out. It doesn't take many making that decision for prices to fall, and when they fall the idea of getting out starts occurring to a lot of people at the same time... This may be a very interesting Fall (the season, and the price).

an interesting thing about RRRR is it always had a core, if unglamorous business -- not the pie in the sky of investing in unnamed companies, but the mundane dollar-for-time biz of designing websites. That could keep the stock from going completely south, which is more than most web companies can say.
