DJ Venator 2Q Same-Store Sales Flat NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Venator Group Inc. (Z) July same-store sales were flat with a year ago. In a press release Thursday, the company said total sales for the 13 weeks ended July 31 rose 1.8% to $1.06 billion from $1.04 billion last year. For the 26 weeks ended July 31, same-store sales were unchanged. Total sales rose 2% to $2.14 billion from $2.1 billion a year ago. Excluding the effect of foreign currency fluctuation, second-quarter and six-month sales rose 2.5%. -Lisa Reynolds; 201-938-5400
