Looks like the jury is still out on our theories about Tuesday's capitulation day! The dip into the $34 range was on relatively low volume and was rather brief. Could be MM's taking out limit orders. There were a lot of small lots at $35.

Today may be a case where the general market is dragging all stocks else down due to the lower productivity report and the MSFT-AOL battle highlighted in the WSJ (MSFT may give away virtually free internet service).

Murli, OT...

RE: MSFT. The antitrust laws are an excercise in hypocracy: After all, isn't the U.S. gov't the largest monopoly there ever was??? There are no symptoms of monopoly such as higher prices, lower quality (e.g. more, not less, functionality is added to Office each year - quality is debatable). Finally, everyone who rags on MSFT should take a look at themselves and ask if they or their neighbor has illegally copied MSFT software onto their own private machines, a flagrant disregard for private property and strict licensing agreements.
