you could make almost the same statement and replace AOL with Coca Cola, and it could be argued to be true...Not necessarily attributing Coke's staying power to AOL, just don't underestimate a giant loyal following (remember what many went through in terms of bad service a while back) and their "You've got mail" branding power...MSFT will prosper and so will AOL. Politics, Business, and Courts make strange bedfellows. I'll bet that they partner on some projects within the next 10 years. Think not---How about the animosity between Apple/Jobs and MSFT/Gates.
