AOL vs. MSFT

AOL has been rumored over and over that it is going to get killed by XYZ.

First it was the phone companies. Then it was MSN that was going to put them out of business. Then it was the Web itself. Then is was broadband. Now we are back to Microsoft.

Well it looks like access is going to be under pricing pressure - that is for sure. However, at $82, its discounted. Besides, the play here is monetizing subs from ecommerce and advertising. Microsoft can't do that. AOL will be back. Bought more on this panic.
