To thread members: How much preparation is enough? I think the red cross's 3 days is woefully inadequate, even for a winter storm. Right now I am prepared for about 35 days with no outside supplies. I am stocked with things I will use anyway, which I buy on sale usually, so I am not out anything if there are no problems. I would like to hear about the amount of time different people are prepared for. TIA, Mark
