This is what I believe. Felderhoff and Kavanugh as described in my previous post have 60 years combined experience as geologists, Kavanugh told a group of investors in Toronto publically a year ago that he would not be surprised to see over 100 million oz delinated at Busang. Why would a man destroy his reputation unless he was certain. Felderhoff a few months back in the teleconference with analysts confidently predicted the deposit has over 150 million oz. Felderhoff discovered every mine on Kalimantan including Kelian and Mt Muro. If you go to the Bre-X web site and read through the analysts reports especially Lehman's and Nesbitt's you will see that they covered all the bases. Barrick admitted to drilling at least 100 holes and then submitted their bid. Munk was "very disappointed and stated his bid was the best for the Bre-X shareholders at the time". PLacer tried to take over Bre-X completely with a 6 billion dollar bid. No company in the world would propose such a deal without due diuligence. It would be irresposible to do otherwise. We will have to wait for the audit from Strathcona in a month's time but at this point I am inclined to believe all these people can't be wrong. They all know what a mine looks like. It is not like you and I went ther and were convinced. There may something sininster in all this in the end time will tell. If I am wrong and Bre-X turns into a major hoax the repercussions for the junior mining industry will be devasting.
