document capture system, is interoperable with the newly announced
IBM Enterprise Document Management Suite (EDMSuite).
InputAccel provides the ability to convert large volumes of
paper-based information to document images and data that are then
managed by IBM EDMSuite products.

plug-in third party products like Cornerstone's InputAccel.
InputAccel: Advanced Document Capture System
IBM EDMSuite customers like insurance companies, banks, and
transportation agencies will be turning large volumes of paper-based
information into digitized text, data, and images. For this they
need an advanced document capture solution. "Cornerstone's
InputAccel provides IBM EDMSuite customers with a customizable
solution for document capture, whether users are capturing a hundred,
or hundreds-of-thousands of documents a day," noted Kimra Hawley,

Cornerstone and IBM recently collaborated on two key customer
accounts, BASF in Germany and Texas Worker's Compensation in the
United States. Both installations are up and running, capturing and
accessing large volumes of documents.
Commenting on their selection of InputAccel, Joe Young, Project
