you obviously missed my earlier plain speaking post on just who IS my 'neighbor' B.E., or else you would have understood my post to jeff much clearer. you are NOT my neighbor. and neither am i, yours. therefore, your lack of loving behavior toward me, and my unwillingness to show loving behavior toward you is of no discernible consequence to me and my household.
the Dean of christology did NOT dictate that all humans=neighbors. instead we are taught Diety gave freedom of choice to all humans. and individual exercise of that freedom of choice, creates neighbors.
further, said Dean revealed that observation of others' fruit STILL ATTACHED TO THE VINE (some even recommending observing the fruit at the base of the individual tree of life) IS THE STANDARD we are to apply inorder to determine who is our neighbor and who is not.
this internet medium, where many have chosen to reveal choices/life path over time, rules out many neighbor candidates. said natural selection next to THE STANDARD of attachment to the Vine, is akin to ruling out many potential homebuyers by placing a large sale price for a new or existing piece of real estate.
therefore, and i have no divine NOR logical mandate to love the majority of the "potential neighbor pool" as i love myself.
that standard of observing choices, lifepath, fruit in others as the result of their exercise of freedom of choice rules out the majority of humanity frankly.
my assigment is two-fold: stay attached to the Vine by freedom of choice, and to observe who else choses to stay attached to the Vine. quite a simple system and which reflects the infinite beauty of the Designer.
as i observe cumulative life choices in others from my vantage point of 73 years of age, it is quite easily discernible who self qualifies as my neighbor.
to use another allegory, y2k will be a great sheep and goat separator. for this fact, i embrace enthusiastically the global reapportionment of wealth and cleansing of the decaying carcasses of societal trappings and chaos that is coming. while undeniably painful to observe it will be, the joy that the cleansing is nearby and will be completed will wipe away all tears.
for the many MANY loving neighbors i do have, i am exceedingly grateful. such clarity of perspective from my vantage point of 73 years is a blessing indeed.
non-qualifying neighbors need to make other plans than 'sharing with me and my existing neighbors.' i have no problem with people eliminating their neighborliness by their lifepath choices. and as jeff puts it, i also have no problem eliminating them in a defensive me or them survival mode if it comes to that level of confrontation.
i imagine most on this thread will not comprehend such plain speech, and that is fine. it is just further evidence of cumulative lifepath choices.
so breathe away, and walk uprightly, B.E., in any length of gait you possess directly into the path of y2k's cleansing chaos. when we do intersect again, on another plane if that is pre-ordained, your understanding will be far more complete than it is now.
now, my wife and i must excuse ourselves to go re-join the rest of the well cared for, prepared for long duration sheep safely within reach of the Shepherd's experienced staff. for great is the gate and narrow is the way that leadeth to life; and few there be that find it.
