AMD may convince some game developers to do this. I doubt that serious engineering companies will bother - instead they will either do separate 3DNOW and SSE modules - but more likely will d just SSE - since AMD is heading towards the full SSE in the future.

No - it was from somebody doing "diagnostic testing" on K7 chips.
