RESULTS OF A BLIND TEST OF THE STAYHEALTHY WEBSITE:
After Stayhealthy.com recently updated their website, I decided to run a blind (no pun intended) experiment of the "72-Hour Search" feature offered on the site. Below is the text of my request and the full text of the response received - after only 39 hours!
The search request submitted 8/3/99, 8:03 PM:
I am considering having one of the laser eye procedures. While my friends have had great success with what appears to be routine procedure, it appears there is little long term research about the safety of the procedure. Would like to research the safety and longterm impacts of this procedure. Hope you can help!
The response received 8/5/99, 11:00 AM:

While I could have obviously done a website myself through any existing search engine, the simplicity of the "72-Hour Search" feature should be a welcome site for web novices. Limiting the results to five links provided a brief concise overview and I found that all five responses dealt specifically with my request. My only concern would be that one of the sites appears to be a private eye care clinic which may or may not be a good idea. In addition, two of the sites offered information which was two years old - but that time period did not seem to negatively impact the usefulness of the information on the sites.
All in all, I'd say the "72-hour Search" is a pleasant little gem on the Stayhealthy.com website! Especially for web novice users who are not comfortable facing the often complicated maze of a search engine, this feature should be a real winner!!!!!
