You may be right: Scott may not understand everything - but there are other brilliant decision makers at Sun who do understand everything, more than you (or Scott) ever can. Hmmmm I don't see any press releases or other info that would suggest any new enlightened directions wrt to the desktop. Corona's are a joke. As a shareholder I'd say stop production on those desktop turds and let's put the money into building a desktop strategy for today that could evolve into the thin client dream of the future.
