It is my understanding that orders from TCI have been down dramatically year to year and ANTEC has seen no change in order flow through the first quarter 1997. However, I believe the price of the stock has become very attractive at the 7.50 to 8.00 level. A Company that Antec has a 25% interest in, Cabletel(AMEX symbol TTV) however, seems to be even more undervalued. It's the largest distributor of broadband equipment in Canada with revenues expected to increase 60% and Earnings 100% in 1997(as per Cowen and Co. report). Also, insider buying activity is starting to show up.
